Do I need to be present during the move?

Yes. We carry comprehensive public liability insurance and goods-in-transit insurance up to £50,000. For high-value items, additional cover can be arranged on request.

We recommend booking at least a week in advance to secure your preferred date. However, we understand that plans change — we offer same-day and next-day availability when possible.

Our quotes cover the agreed scope of work. Additional charges may apply for extra items not mentioned in the quote, congestion zone fees, parking costs, or significant waiting time. We'll always discuss these with you beforehand.

Do you provide packing materials?

Yes. We can supply boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape, and furniture blankets. If you'd like us to handle the packing for you, just let us know when requesting your quote.

How do you protect my furniture?

We use professional-grade blankets, shrink wrap, and straps to protect all furniture during transit. Fragile items are individually wrapped. Floors and door frames are protected with coverings where needed.

What happens if something gets damaged?

In the rare event of damage caused by our team, please report it to us in writing within 7 days. We'll assess the claim promptly and compensate you in accordance with our insurance policy terms.

Can you store my belongings temporarily?

We don't currently operate our own storage facility, but we can recommend trusted local storage partners and help coordinate the logistics of moving items into storage.

Can you assemble/disassemble furniture?

Absolutely. We offer furniture assembly and disassembly as a standalone service or as part of a move. We handle all brands including IKEA, Argos, and Wayfair, and bring our own tools.

Do you handle waste and junk removal?

Yes. We collect and responsibly dispose of household junk, old furniture, garden waste, and appliances. We recycle wherever possible and provide a duty-of-care waste transfer note. We do not handle construction waste or hazardous materials.

Can you help with a commercial or office move?

Yes. We specialise in office relocations, including out-of-hours and weekend moves to minimise disruption. We handle desks, IT equipment, filing cabinets, and can work to a floor plan at the new premises.

What items can't you move?

We cannot transport hazardous materials (chemicals, explosives, flammable substances), illegal goods, construction waste (rubble, asbestos), clinical waste, or live animals. If you're unsure about a specific item, just ask.

Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled date receive a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. Rescheduling is subject to availability — please let us know as early as possible.

What if you need to cancel on your end?

In the unlikely event we need to cancel (e.g. vehicle breakdown, severe weather), we'll contact you immediately and offer an alternative date or a full refund.
